The Raceday Stewards interviewed Mr A.P. Ryan, rider of Fleur In The Park, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he used his whip to excess as his horse was hanging left. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency and having taken his record into account suspended him for four race days
