Brett, Ivoir Borget (FR), ridden by S.F. O'Keeffe, Bidentime, ridden by D.E. Mullins, Haveuseentherain, ridden by H. Morgan, Joan Of Pimlico, ridden by E. Walsh, and Midnight Fortune, ridden by J.S. McGarvey where it appeared several horses ran short of room and had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. T. N
Brett stated that he received a bump from his inside. S. F. O'Keeffe stated that his mount had a good look and the road and shied left. D. E. Mullins stated that he received pressure from his inside and thought he was going to hit the running rail. H. Morgan stated that there was a concertina effect from the inside. E. Walsh stated that there was a domino effect from the inside. J. S. McGarvey stated that he received a bump from the inside. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that the incident was caused by Ivoir Borget shying at the road and they therefore did not apportion blame to any rider and they took no further action
T.N. Brett, rider of Hot Shimmer, trained by L.Young, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount sustained an over reach to its near fore
D.E. Mullins, rider of Bidentime, trained by Noel G. Hynds, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount suffered interference at the start
