Following the race, Oisin Murphy reported that Mahanakhon Power (GB), placed sixth, hung left-handed under pressure and had no more to give and the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination revealed the gelding moved poorly behind.
Sean Levey reported that Jazz Party (GB), which started favourite and finished fifth, stopped quickly and the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding, during routine testing, failed to reveal any abnormalities.
