The Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Springbank, ridden by C.J. MacRedmond, unplaced, Rebellito (FR), ridden by K.J. Manning, unplaced, Morph Speed, ridden by C.D. Hayes, placed first and Nibiru, ridden by Siobhan Rutledge, unplaced, where it appeared that Rebellito got tight for room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C. J. MacRedmond stated that his mount leaned in. K. J. Manning stated that he received pressure from his outside. Siobhan Rutledge stated that she received minor interference. C. D. Hayes stated that his mount leaned in but was well clear. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that any interference that occurred was accidental, and they took no further action other than to advise C. J. MacRedmond to ride with more awareness in the future
C.D. Hayes, rider of Morph Speed trained by Richard John O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount leaned left in the straight.
An extended handicap for three years old and upwards that at entry have run three or more times under any Rules of Racing, at least one of those runs having been over a distance of ten furlongs or more on or after 1st July, 2020 (100 = 10st) Weights - Top weight in the original handicap and after the time of declaration shall not be less than 10st and the minimum weight shall not be less than 8st 6lbs Penalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 6lb extra for each race won.
