The Stewards noted that shortly after jumping the first hurdle on the final circuit Bacardys (FR), placed seventh, Fury Road (IRE), which was pulled up, Main Fact (USA), which was pulled up, and The Storyteller (IRE), placed fifth, were all hampered by the fall of Lisnagar Oscar (IRE).
Following the race, Jack Kennedy reported that Fury Road (IRE), which was pulled up, was never travelling and jumped poorly.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding failed to reveal any abnormalities.
The Veterinary Officer also reported that The Storyteller (IRE), placed fifth, had been struck into on its right fore.
