Permission was given for Rajmeister (GB) to wear a red hood to the start.
The Raceday privilege request in relation to Rajmeister (GB), trained by Tom Clover, was late being submitted.
Clover was warned as to his responsibility to ensure that all Raceday privilege requests are submitted before the day of racing.
An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after the start when Rajmeister (GB), unplaced, ridden by Jack Mitchell, interfered with Southern Voyage (FR), placed second, ridden by Daniel Tudhope, which in turn interfered with Valiant Prince (IRE), unplaced, ridden by William Buick.
Mitchell was cautioned for careless riding as having jumped right-handed from the stalls, he then continued to allow his mount to drift right-handed without taking sufficient steps to correct the colt, carrying Southern Voyage (FR) slightly off its intended line and causing Buick to have to take a precautionary check.
Following the race, James Doyle reported that Ironside (IRE), unplaced, was slowly away and the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding failed to reveal any abnormalities.
