The apparent improvement in form of the winner, Flying Nun (IRE), compared with its previous run at Ludlow on 22 December 2021 where the filly finished eighth of fifteen, beaten by 20 lengths, was considered.
Emma Lavelle’s comments that the race at Ludlow was more competitive than today and appreciated running in its first handicap were noted.
