MAJOR HAYWARD was susprisingly easy to back here following an encouraging fifth, albeit well beaten, in a race that has worked out quite well, at Navan recently. This looked only an average race but the winner, who has had his problems in the past, can pay his way.
THE BREATHALYSER fairly flew home and was the eye-catcher. The point to point winner looks to have ability and should prove difficult to beat in a maiden hurdle next time out.
EAST BEACH has won two point to points and made most of the running before being headed by the winner. He ran a sound race, can win over hurdles and should make a nice chaser.
KILBRITTAIN FLYER and TOOMDEELY ran fine and can win handicaps in time.
Well backed joint favourites CADEANSCEAL (in touble a long way out) and THE LEVEL are better than these efforts but were nonetheless disappointing.
Non-Runners were Treatycat (resperatory infection) and the three reserves.
