The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident at the final hurdle involving Clear The Clouds, ridden by C. Stone- Walsh, and Aodhan May, ridden by P. Byrnes, where it appeared horses came close together. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted
The Raceday Stewards enquired into the late entry of Full Noise, trained by Miss Katy Brown, into the parade ring prior to this race. Evidence was heard from the trainer's Authorised Representative, Mr. G. Dunne, who stated that he was delayed due to the application of a tongue tie prior to the race. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found the trainer in breach of Rule 32 by failing to parade in the ring a reasonable time before the signal to mount was given and having taken her record in this regard into consideration the Raceday Stewards cautioned the trainer on this occasion through her representative.
An extended handicap hurdle for four years old and upwards rated 80-102 Penalties - Winner of a hurdle race after calculation of the handicap shall carry 7lb extra for each hurdle race won.
