The apparent improvement in form of the winner, Dell' Arca (IRE), compared with its previous run at Newbury on 21 February 2021 where the gelding finished eighth of sixteen runners, beaten by 27¼ lengths was considered.
The representative of David Pipe could offer no explanation for DELL’ ARCA (IRE)’s improved form other than the gelding may have benefited from the application of a first-time visor.
His comments were noted and Dell' Arca (IRE) was routine tested.
