Permission was given for Watch Blue Point (IRE) to wear a red hood to the start.
Approximately 1 ½ furlongs out Tees Aggregates (IRE), placed fifth, edged marginally right-handed carrying Watch Blue Point (IRE), unplaced, who was making its run at the same time, off its intended line which in turn caused the rider of Drifter (IRE), unplaced, to momentarily ease.
After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and had not improved the placing of Tees Aggregates (IRE).
The Clerk of the Scales reported that Joe Fanning, the rider of Blue Point Express (IRE), placed third, and Rowan Scott, the rider of Rose Of New Jersey (GB), placed fourth, had both been unable to weigh in, owing to being unseated after the line and both fillies running loose.
The Stewards were satisfied that the correct weight had been carried throughout the race and confirmed the placing of Blue Point Express (IRE) and Rose Of New Jersey (GB).

KODENZA (IRE), trained by Tim Easterby, lost its left-fore shoe on the way to post.
As the trainer had not indicated at declaration stage that the gelding should be withdrawn in the event of losing a shoe on the way to post, KODENZA (IRE) (IRE) ran without its left-fore shoe.
An enquiry was held to consider circumstances surrounding the reasons why the rail at the crossing after the winning line was down.
The Clerk of the Course was interviewed and having heard his evidence, the Stewards ordered a report to be forwarded to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority for further consideration.
