An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately half a furlong out when the winner, Alsvinder (GB), ridden by Adam Kirby, interfered with Gorgeous Noora (IRE), placed third, ridden by Hollie Doyle.
Richard Kingscote, the rider of Reflektor (IRE), placed fourth, was also present in the enquiry but it was found that he was not involved in the interference.
Kirby was suspended for 2 days for careless as he had allowed his mount to drift left-handed away from the whip without sufficient and timely correction, causing Doyle to have to take a check off heels for a few strides.
Following the race, Hollie Doyle reported that Gorgeous Noora (IRE), placed third, was denied a clear run, and Richard Kingscote reported that Reflektor (IRE), placed fourth, moved poorly; the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding failed to reveal any abnormalities.
