Kieren Fox, the rider of Noble Deed (GB), was unseated shortly after leaving the stalls.
The rider was interviewed and shown recordings of the incident.
It was found that no other horse or rider was involved and was caused by Noble Deed (GB) anticipating the start after the removal of the blindfold and jumping awkwardly from the stalls, causing Fox to become unbalanced and be unseated.
Having reviewed the start the Stewards were satisfied that Fox was mounted as the start was effected and Noble Deed (GB) was deemed to be a runner.
Following the race, Tom Marquand reported that Under Curfew (GB), placed third, hung left-handed in the straight.
