An enquiry was held to consider the unruly behaviour of Met By Moonlight (GB), which was reluctant to go to post and had to be led riderless to the start.
Ron Hodges was interviewed and shown recordings of the incident.
As the filly had also been unruly at Salisbury on 2 May 2019, Hodges was informed that any future similar behaviour from Met By Moonlight (GB) may result in the horse being reported to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority.
The Stewards further informed Hodges that they felt that Met By Moonlight (GB) was inappropriate for an apprentice race where privileges are not permitted.
