Permission was given for Mea Culpa (IRE) to go early and be led to post.
Approaching the final ½ furlong, Pinarella (FR), placed third, shifted quickly left causing the rider of Dream House (GB), unplaced, to take a momentary check but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved, and it had not improved the placing of Pinarella (FR).
An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the line when In Trutina (GB), placed second, ridden by Hollie Doyle caused interference Pinarella (FR), placed third, ridden by Andrew Mullen.
Doyle was cautioned for careless riding as she had failed to take sufficient corrective action to prevent her mount from drifting left causing slight interference to Pinarella (FR).
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Mea Culpa (IRE), unplaced, lost its right hind shoe.
