Permission was given for Point Of Fact (GB) and Lucky San Jore (GB) to both wear a red hood to post.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 7 furlongs out involving Daheer (USA), placed third, ridden by Billy Loughnane and Point Of Fact (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Robert Havlin.
The interference was found to be accidental as Daheer (USA) had edged slightly left-handed in a tightly packed field, causing the free running Point Of Fact (GB) to become short of room and lose ground.
Approaching 2 furlongs out Gavi Di Gavi (IRE), unplaced, lugged slightly left-handed, impeding Visibility (IRE), placed fifth, on the rail but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 1½ furlongs out, involving Point Of Fact (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Robert Havlin and Visibility (IRE), placed fifth, ridden by Phil Dennis.
The interference was found to be accidental as Havlin had committed for a legitimate run to the inside of Daheer (USA), placed third, ridden by Billy Loughnane after that runner had fanned wide off the bend, before Daheer (USA) had then been corrected by its rider and edged marginally left-handed influencing Point Of Fact (GB), which was also lugging left-handed by this stage onto Visibility forcing Dennis to check his mount.
Following the race, Finley Marsh reported that Winforglory (IRE), unplaced, hung left-handed, the Veterinary Officer reported that a post race examination of the gelding failed to reveal any abnormalities.
Phil Dennis reported that Visibility (IRE), placed fifth, was denied a clear run turning into the home straight.
