An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the first bend involving Motajaasid (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Angus Villiers; Sarasota (IRE), placed second, ridden by Andrew Breslin; Caledonian Gold (GB), unplaced, ridden by William Cox; Secondo (FR), placed eighth, ridden by Poppy Bridgwater and Dark Side Dream (GB), placed seventh, ridden by Thore Hammer Hansen.
Being a 7lb claimer, Villiers was accompanied by a senior jockey.
Villiers was suspended for 4 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to edge left towards the rail without sufficient correction when insufficiently clear of Sarasota (IRE), carrying the filly onto Caledonian Gold (GB), which had to be checked and in turn caused Secondo (FR) to be badly crowded for room and Dark Side Dream (GB) to become unbalanced when tightened for room on the rail.
Following the race, Angus Villiers reported that Motajaasid (IRE), placed fourth, jumped left leaving the stalls and Toby Eley, the rider of Art Echo (GB), placed third, and Ella McCain, the rider of Dark Confidant (IRE), unplaced, reported that both their mounts hung right.
