Permission was given for Rocket Action (GB) to wear a red hood to post.
An enquiry was held to consider interference just inside the 4 furlong marker involving Rocket Action (GB), placed second, ridden by Elle-May Croot and the winner, Doctor Mozart (IRE), ridden by Pat Cosgrave.
As a 7lb claiming apprentice, Croot was offered the opportunity to be accompanied in the enquiry, but declined.
Cosgrave was cautioned for careless riding as he edged left-handed to the rail without being fully clear of Rocket Action (GB), causing Croot to take a slight check.
Approaching 3 ½ furlongs out, a free running Por Ti Volare (GB), placed fifth, shifted right-handed, inconveniencing The Daley Express (IRE), placed fourth, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, Trevor Whelan reported that The Daley Express (IRE), placed fourth, was never travelling and Georgia Dobie reported that Por Ti Volare (GB), placed fifth, ran too freely.
