Georgia Dobie, the rider of Tin Hat (IRE), had fallen just inside the final half furlong.
Dobie was interviewed and shown recordings of the incident after which it was found that no other horse or rider was involved and the incident was caused by the gelding becoming unbalanced, losing its action and colliding with the rail.
Following the race, Theodore Ladd reported that Spring Romance (IRE), placed fifth, hung left-handed under pressure.
