An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 1 furlong after the start involving Cliffs Of Capri (GB), placed third, ridden by Mr Alex Ferguson, Raydiance (GB), unplaced, ridden by Mr Simon Walker, and Rafiot (USA), which unseated Mr George Gorman.
The interference was found to be accidental as when racing tight, Rafiot (USA) clipped heels with Marshal Dan (IRE), causing the gelding to stumble and unseat Mr Gorman.
