Jumping the second last hurdle Twinjets (IRE), placed sixth, was hampered by the fall of Petrossian (IRE).
An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the final hurdle involving Deere Mark (GB), placed second, ridden by Sam Twiston-Davies and An Mhi (IRE), which later fell, ridden by Davy Russell.
The interference was found to be accidental as Deere Mark (GB) edged slightly right-handed at the same time as An Mhi (IRE) lugged marginally left-handed causing the two to make minimal contact and An Mhi (IRE) to trip and fall.
It was noted that as a result of this Evenwood Sonofagun (IRE) was brought down by the faller.
Following the race Tom Bellamy reported that the bit slipped through the mouth of Emotional Memories (IRE), which was pulled up, and thereafter hung right-handed and the Veterinary Officer reported that Deere Mark (GB), placed second, lost its right hind shoe.
