The Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Attack At Dawn, ridden by G.P. Halpin, unplaced, Paddytheirishman, ridden by R.P. Cleary, placed fourth and Spanish Dawn, ridden by S.M. Crosse, placed third, where it appeared that Attack At Dawn got tight for room and checked. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that any interference caused was accidental in nature and took no further action
D.P. McDonogh, rider of Wavepoint (GB), trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount moved very short in the straight
G.P. Halpin, rider of Attack At Dawn, trained by Kevin Prendergast, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount received interference in the straight

The Stewards received a report from Ms Joan Taylor, IHRB Veterinary Officer that an item was found in a stable during the course of todays meeting. Evidence was heard from Ms J. Taylor, Mr Ciaran O'Connor, IHRB Security Officer and Mr Jim Martin, Dundalk Racecourse Manager. Having considered the evidence the Stewards referred the matter to the CEO of the IHRB for further investigation
