An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the line when ATTY’S EDGE, placed second ridden by Gina Mangan interfered with Ubahha (GB), placed fifth, ridden by Fredrick Larson.

The winner, Harrogate (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Haydock on 7 August 2022, where the gelding finished tenth of thirteen runners, beaten by 5 ½ lengths.
Paul Midgley’s explanation that Harrogate (IRE) was better suited by the watered ground at Nottingham, which in his opinion was riding easier than the going at Haydock, despite the official going descriptions suggesting the opposite, was noted; the gelding was routine tested.
