The Stewards fined Rossa Ryan ?200 in accordance with Rule 196(v) for failing to present himself to be weighed out within the allocated time. The Stewards interviewed K.J. Leonard, rider of Black Label (GB), regarding his late arrival into the parade ring for this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, in the presence of Andrew Oliver, trainer, who accompanied the rider in the Stewards room. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards advised the rider concerning his future responsibilities in this regard.
