It was a long run home and I said he will definitely get idle. He could have wilted when I saw Keith (Donoghue on Bythesametoken) coming on his outside. He has a good mark over hurdles and we will see what the handicapper does. I've run him quite a few times over hurdles and he runs well, but he is a horse that doesn't see out his races. I'd be tempted to go back over hurdles as he will get a few pounds for that. He has a few pounds to spare (over hurdles), you'd hope anyway. Edward Cawley, trainer

The IHRB Veterinary Officer examined Womalko (FR), trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have blood at both nostrils post race.
