Upon leaving the stalls the winner Arcadian Nights (GB) jumped right-handed brushing Sir Plato (IRE), placed second, resulting in that runner becoming unbalanced and making contact with the hindquarters of Helm Rock (GB), placed fifth.
After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and it had not improved the placing of Arcadian Nights (GB).
Approaching the final furlong Macs Dilemma (IRE), placed third, lugged slightly left-handed moving Helm Rock (GB), placed fifth, onto Girl From Ipanema (IRE), unplaced, which was briefly hampered.
After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved, nor had it improved the placing Macs Dilemma (IRE).
Following the race, Georgia Dobie reported that Sir Plato (IRE), placed second, hung left-handed.
