Quotes on Fascile Mode (IRE)
it’s great to get that job done and I was expected a good run. I was disappointed he did that (mistake) at the third last but it was his first day at school. Since he came here today he was gawking everywhere and was on his toes for some reason. He settled well in the race which was great but was having a good look at everything and I’d say he would have learned a lot. I’m very happy with him. There is a novice in Cheltenham at the November meeting or the Royal Bond but his jumping will have to sharpen up. He’s brilliant at home and has done a lot of schooling. After Fascile Mode (IRE) finished 1st at Punchestown on Wed, 11th Oct 2023 2m Maiden Hurdle Yielding to Soft

Quotes on Gaelic Arc (IRE)
I couldn't believe who made that horse 14/1, it was a joke! We changed the way of riding him and he didn't come off the bridle at Down Royal, so I was wondering what I was missing - I couldn't understand it. He had gone off the boil after having a hard race behind American Mike last December and he loves the top of the ground. His half-brother won (Galop Marin) won four French Grade 1s. That chap (Prendergast) is in with me three days a week and this horse was his first winner as a conditional jockey at Down Royal. I left him on again today and it is great for him. After Gaelic Arc (IRE) finished 1st at Clonmel on Thu, 12th May 2022 2m Hurdle Good

Quotes on Jesse Evans (IRE)
I'd say the mistake in Killarney did him good as he was absolutely foot-perfect the whole way around (third on chasing debut). All his schooling had been excellent, so that was his first time making a mistake. He had a little injury in the spring which held him up and while I had intended to put him over fences at the big meeting in the summer, with the Hurdle being worth so much money we put a claimer on, but he wasn't as sharp this year. He is a good ground horse and I'd love to think he'd be back next year for the Plate - that would be my dream with him if he stayed right. While the ground is dry, we'll continue until the beginning of the winter and the Cheltenham October meeting is in the mix. He has been fantastic and was initially sold by the Bleahens, in a year when they sold many horses for over €100,000, but I got him for €15,000 and turned out to be the best one. After Jesse Evans (IRE) finished 1st at Galway on Mon, 9th Sep 2024 2m 2f Chase Yielding

Quotes on Monbeg Park (IRE)
We had a fierce frustrating time with him last season. He had a really good run in Thurles but got a fright at Leopardstown and it took him a while to come back around. He is made for fences, he jumped very well today and JJ was always happy with him. I still think there is a big race in him, so we won't over race him. It's grand to get his head back in front and it's great to have a winner at the local track. We were just throwing everything at it today and I'd say the cheekpieces probably helped him to get his confidence back and he tuned in well. I think he won a bit snug so we are very happy with him and it wasn't a bad beginners for the time of year. He could go for a rated novice back here in a fortnight and if he qualifies for that we will let him run. The ground wouldn't want to be any quicker than it is today though. There is a novice handicap at Cheltenham in November and we will work back from that. After Monbeg Park (IRE) finished 1st at Wexford on Sat, 13th Jul 2024 2m 3f Chase Good

Quotes on Pinkerton (IRE)
He is a horse that gets 2m very well and it was a burst of speed I had never felt off him before. He is not overly big but he jumps slick and likes plenty cover. He did everything right the whole way round. He came out of last week's race great. I was a disappointed he didn't win a bit easier there as it was a very ordinary contest, he struggled a bit and was maybe in front a bit long. Today when he went to the front he wandered a bit going to the last. It's great for the owners to win here, he's been a super little horse for them. He's the first horse Philip (Polly) bought off me and that's the first time he's won for them. He's tough and the jockey is very good, he's very strong. He mightn't go on real quick ground, he wants an ease, but we'll carry on for the moment and see how we go.After Pinkerton (IRE) finished 1st at Punchestown on Thu, 2nd May 2024 2m Hcap Chase Yielding

Quotes on Thecompanysergeant (GB)
We went a nice gallop. He had the experience coming into the race. He had some really solid form behind him. I'd say they were surprised he hadn't won his Beginners(chase) until now. We had been thinking of going for the Galway Plate so he would have wanted to do that in this grade and had finished fourth in a Grade 1 three runs ago. The Plate was in my head all summer but when he was beaten in Tipperary, I had a chat with Martin (Cooney) and we decided to stay in calmer waters. Rachael gave him a super ride and he jumped super. He is now still a novice for the season so we'll exploit that and we're hoping he will mix it in graded company during the winter. He has only been out of the money a few times when he had reasons and thanks to Martin for keeping him, as there were times he could have sold him. I'd love to have more like him but what generally happens to stables like ours nowadays is the likes of him are sold and taken by bigger owners and trainers. After Thecompanysergeant (GB) finished 1st at Galway on Tue, 30th Jul 2024 2m 2f Chase Good to Yielding

Quotes on Watch The Weather (GB)
The plan was to run him yesterday at Galway. He was declared on good ground and obviously it went yielding to soft, so it would have been a waste of time. We ran him on heavy in Listowel the last day and Conor Stone-Walsh said he hated it all the way and never went. Even today I was a little bit worried would the yielding ground be quick enough for him. He has a little bit of a wind problem and needs everything to go right, but he got a very, very good ride today. I told Danny to just drop him out and fill him with confidence and leave him on the bridle as long as he could. . He is a good horse when things go right for him, but he can be very in and out a bit. He struggles to win but I'm delighted for his owner. He obviously likes it here, he won here before and was third twice in two beginners'. . As soon as the ground turns soft or heavy he will be left off, but we might get a bit of nicer ground at some of the better tracks. We will probably keep him on the go for a little bit longer anyway and he'll go on his holidays then. I'd imagine we'll stick to fences with him for the time being anyway, he jumps well, he is very good to jump, he knows what he is doing. After Watch The Weather (GB) finished 1st at Wexford on Sun, 27th Oct 2024 2m 3f Hcap Chase Yielding

Quotes on Shecouldbeanything (IRE)
Jack said she travelled well and got there too soon,. He gave her a kick and she quickened at the back of the second-last. She is not a bad mare and was unlucky at Galway when she made mistakes at the second-last and last and would have been bang there only for that. Quotes on A Penny A Hundred (FR)
She was better on the track than she has been at home. She's bred by my mother, we sent a few of our mares over to France as a bit of an experiment so she's a French-bred. I think Jukebox Jury is going to be a fantastic sire, we've plenty of well-bred horses by him and My Great Mate who won in Galway is one of his as well. It wasn't the plan to make the running, but she took me there and I was a little worried she was doing a bit too much the whole way around, but she picked up well in the straight. I'd imagine we'll give her a chance at some black-type, maybe in Fairyhouse. She has a lovely pedigree. I think that's Brendan's (O'Sullivan) first runner, and winner, in his colours so it's very special for him. It looked like a good bumper on paper and I'd say the second horse is nice. Quotes on Hazelhatch Lady (IRE)
I'm delighted she's won. I was praying for the line to come, we had one yesterday and the line never came for us but we got away with it today,. On her day she's actually a good mare but she has her problems. Top-weight today was a little bit of a worry but on her home-work she's always been good. She could throw a spanner in the works the next day but that's just her. She's after winning a bumper, two hurdles and a chase so we'll see what she does after today. She was 115 or 116 over hurdles and he'll probably put her up to that over fences now so we'll see where we go. She's much better in a smaller field, that's obvious. In a smaller field when she gets her own way in front she's not too bad. Hopefully she can go on again. After Hazelhatch Lady (IRE) finished 1st at Galway on Tue, 8th Oct 2024 2m 2f Hcap Chase Good
