FormscanBy Tom Weekes - Grade 1-placed SPINDLEBERRY debuts over fences and might prefer easier ground but has point-to-point experience. She finished second in a top-level novice in March and while well beaten subsequently at Punchestown, is forgiven that run as she had been hampered and blundered badly. Grade 2-hurdle winner Enjoy The Dream finished just 12 lengths behind Lossiemouth in April 2023 and while well held in two recent chases, both races are working out quite well. Majestic Force has winning points form and while well enough held at Cheltenham in March, can get involved on chase debut. Iris Emery was narrowly defeated by Drinmore winner Croke Park last month but that rival was reported to have had ‘blood at both nostrils’ then.

Quotes on Cuta Des As (FR)
Cuta Des As obviously likes that ground and jumped well when Paul wanted her over the last. Rachael (Blackmore, on runner-up Tareze) had to do all the donkey work and Paul nabbed her over the last. She's just taken a while to come to hand and hopefully now she'll stay going. I know the ground is going to be turning a bit better for her but she's coming right and hopefully she'll win one or two before a summer off and then back over fences. She's a nice big type of mare that will jump fences. After Cuta Des As (FR) finished 1st at Punchestown on Wed, 21st Feb 2024 2m 6f Maiden Hurdle Heavy

Quotes on Enjoy The Dream (GB)
We were running her hoping she might run into third or fourth,. After the third last I thought she was going to run a lovely race and when she straightened up I thought 'we're in with a big shout now'. She only had the one run over hurdles and I thought if we're going to lose our novice status at this time of year we may as well make it well worthwhile. She's a very happy filly, she can be very keen and she can do a lot of messing but she's quite relaxed behind it. She's just starting to settle down in herself and I think there could be more improvement to come from her. We don't get many shots to buy a horse with a chance to be a graded horse. Realistically she's the only one we've had that was in the price range that might end up in graded company so it's nice that it's worked out. She only had one run in Gowran which was actually quite an easy run because she got banged into early on and didn't have a hard race. That's the first race she's really had so we'll definitely go to Punchestown, I'll have a chat with the Dr (Andrew Heffernan) but I'd say we'll most likely go there. I'd imagine we'll even keep going after that. I think she has a rating around 90 on the Flat and she could also have the option of going to France for the summer. She has a brilliant pedigree and when we bought her the consignor was saying she was in the wrong sale as she'd make more money in the broodmare sale. It's all black-type and she has a residual value but we won't be going there for a while. SAfter Enjoy The Dream (GB) finished 1st at Fairyhouse on Mon, 10th Apr 2023 2m Hurdle Soft

Quotes on Iris Emery (FR)
It was a good performance. For a maiden, first time, she jumped very well and that brought me a lot of the way round. The second had some decent form pre-Christmas and I'd say for a small field it probably wasn't the worst maiden. They are two decent types and it's nice to get the job done with my one. Maidens first time are not normally that straightforward, even out in front on her own. If they were all like that it would be easy. After Iris Emery (FR) finished 1st at Fairyhouse on Wed, 7th Feb 2024 2m Maiden Hurdle Heavy
