The Stewards interviewed C.J. Orr, rider of Bridge Native, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found C. J. Orr in breach of regulation 10.3.(g), excessive frequency. Having considered C
J. Orr's record in this regard the Stewards suspended C. J. Orr for six racedays and ordered him to attend R.A.C.E for one days tuition on the correct use of the whip.
