Permission was given for Roaring Rosa (IRE) to be mounted on the course and go early to post and for Clipsham Gold (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
The Starter reported that Larkin (IRE) refused to enter the stalls and was withdrawn at 7:44 pm.
Tom Dascombe was informed that the gelding could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
An enquiry was held to consider interference about 1 ½ furlongs out involving Roaring Rosa (IRE), placed fourth ridden by Kieran O’Neill, Girl Inthe Picture (IRE), placed second, ridden by Neil Callan and Ramamaras Boy (IRE), placed sixth, ridden by Dougie Costello.
O’Neill was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift left under a right handed drive carrying Girl Inthe Picture (IRE) slightly off her intended line, resulting in Dougie Costello having to take a very slight check aboard RAMARARAS BOY (IRE).
Following the race Dougie Costello reported that Ramamaras Boy (IRE), placed sixth, hung left throughout.
