Absolutely (kept it simple off the front) and cheekpieces helped him as well as he races a little bit lazily. A little bit nicer ground helped as well, it was very deep ground the last day (in Cork). I'm not saying he needs good ground, but deep winter ground is probably a little too much for him.

Absolutely (likeable mare with a good attitude), and she was actually quite green there today. I think it is only her fourth run of her life and you'd forget that. She's going the right way and is a nice mare. She has won on heavy as well. I'm not sure where we will go next, but she has taken a few scalps there. It is great for the owners, they only live down in Duleek. Great to have a local winner.

That's it, yes (they are there to be jumped) - it would have been a good race if the horse upsides going down to the last stayed standing. She was idling a bit up the straight and I think she had a little bit up her sleeve, so I wasn't overly worried. She couldn't really handle the heavy ground - better ground and 2m4f and got away nice and cheekpieces on. I just think in behind horses she wasn't going forward. Out in front today, I think we just saw the best of her.
