Rounding the first bend Hedychium (IRE), placed third, became slightly tight of room against the rail.
After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.

His comments that the mare was up in trip from 2 miles to 2 miles 5 ½ furlongs on this occasion and it was her first run in a handicap which in his opinion, was a weaker race.
