He's a lovely straight-forward genuine horse,. With it being his first run in a handicap you are always wondering a bit but he loves the surface. We'll keep him campaigning here and he could run again on Friday. It's a pity he had to beat another one of ours - who has been unlucky not to win one lately. M Halford, trainer

An extended handicap for three yrs old and upwards (85 = 9st 10lb)
Weights - Top weight in the original handicap; shall not be less than 9st 10lb
Penalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 5lb extra for each race won Any horse rated above 85 shall initially be treated as having that rating and the highest weight allotted shall be 9st 10lb. Subsequently, the excess over 85 in any rating shall be added to the weight allotted to that horse.
Riders - Open to all Apprentices who are apprenticed to Trainers in Ireland only Allowances (which are not cumulative up to and including 9th December) Apprentices who have not ridden three *winners allowed 7lb Those who have not ridden twenty *winners allowed 4lb Those who have not ridden thirty *winners allowed 2lb
