The winner, Mr Tambourine Man (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Exeter on 2 February 2022 where the gelding finished sixth of ten runners, beaten by 22 ½ lengths.
David Pipe’s explanation that Mr Tambourine Man (IRE) had appreciated the quicker, Good to Firm, Good in places going on this occasion, having run on ground officially described as Good to Soft, Good in places on its last start, was noted.
His explanation was noted and the gelding was routine tested.
