The Stewards interviewed I.J. Power, rider of Jacksons Gold, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3(g)(frequency) and having taken his record into account cautioned him on this occasion
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Jacksons Gold trained by Ms. Alice Curran was found to have pulled a hind shoe and was sore post race
An extended handicap hurdle for four years old and upwards rated 80-130 that have not won a hurdle race before 3rd May 2020 that are EBF eligible and have not run as a two or three yr old under any Rules of Racing and that have not won a steeplechase Weights - Top weight in the original handicap and after the time of declaration shall not be less than 11st 10lbs and the minimum weight is 10st 3lbs Penalties - Winner of a hurdle race after calculation of the handicap shall carry 5lb extra for each hurdle race won.
