The Starter reported that Bass Strait (GB) refused to enter the stalls and was withdrawn at 5.
37pm.
Mick Channon was informed that the filly could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
Mick Channon was also informed that any future similar unruly behaviour from Bass Strait (GB) may result in the filly being reported to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority.
This was due to Bass Strait (GB) being unruly in the preliminaries and refusing to enter the stalls once down at the start and followed the filly having been unruly at Chepstow on 11 June 2021 whereupon the rider had refused to ride Bass Strait (GB) and the filly had subsequently been withdrawn.
Following the race, Sean Levey reported that Desert (IRE), placed fourth, jumped right-handed leaving the stalls and Jack Mitchell reported that Sulevia (GB), unplaced, hung right-handed.
