An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 2½ furlongs out when Motarajel (GB), placed third, ridden by Duran Fentiman, interfered with Eligible (IRE), placed fifth, ridden by Joanna Mason.
Fentiman was cautioned for careless riding as he angled his mount left-handed when insufficiently clear of Eligible (IRE) causing Mason to have to take a slight check.
An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race after interference inside the final furlong involving the winner, Grifter (GB), ridden by Jack Garritty, Tangled (IRE), placed second, ridden by Connor Beasley, and Motarajel (GB), placed third, ridden by Duran Fentiman.
The Stewards considered that the interference had not improved the placing of Grifter (GB) as the riders of Tangled (IRE) and Motarajel (GB) never had to stop riding and lost very little momentum as a result of the interference with the official distance at the line being a neck and ½ length.
The interference was found to be accidental in that Grifter (GB) had taken a false step and shifted quickly left-handed resulting in Tangled (IRE) shying away into the path of Motarajel (GB) carrying the gelding off its intended line.
Following the race, Oliver Stammers reported that Silver Dust (IRE), unplaced, weakened quickly from 2 furlongs out and the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding failed to reveal any abnormalities.
Ray Dawson reported that Head Chef (IRE), placed sixth, hung right-handed inside the final furlong.
