Permission was given for Notre Maison (GB) to wear a red hood to post and to be mounted in the chute.
There appeared to be interference between the winner, Notre Maison (GB), ridden by Neil Callan and Mr Pc (IRE), placed fifth, ridden by Tom Queally, approaching the first bend.
The riders were interviewed and shown recordings of the incident after which it was found the free running Mr Pc (IRE), had to be checked off heels and, as a result, made contact with the running rail, and therefore no interference had taken place.
Following the race, Mollie Phillips reported that Alya's Gold Award (IRE), unplaced, was slowly away and Tom Queally reported that Mr Pc (IRE), placed fifth, ran too free.
