An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race after possible interference on the run to the line involving the winner, Galop De Chasse (FR), ridden by Shane Quinlan and Kandoo Kid (FR), placed second, ridden by Harry Cobden.
The riders were interviewed and shown recordings of the incident after which it was found that no interference had taken place and the Stewards, therefore, ordered the placings to remain unaltered.
Following the race, Niall Houlihan reported that Belargus (FR), placed fifth, was outpaced and Caoilin Quinn reported that Movethechains (IRE), unplaced, was outpaced throughout and jumped left- handed.
