The Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages of this race involving Happy Jacky, ridden by Katie O'Farrell, placed first, Alice Johnston, ridden by A.P. Kelly, placed second and Ashton Court, ridden by R.J
Condon, placed third, where it appeared that Ashton Court ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that any interference was accidental and they took no further action.
An extended handicap hurdle for four years old and upwards rated 80-95 Penalties - Winner of a hurdle race after calculation of the handicap shall carry 5lb extra for each hurdle race won.
