Permission was given for Zara's Return (GB) to go early to post and for Ezaj (GB) to wear a red hood to post.
Shortly after leaving the stalls, Bara Lacha (GB), placed fourth, lugged right-handed, moving Ezaj (GB), placed third, onto Zara's Return (GB), placed second, which lost its early position when tightened onto the heels of the winner, Polly Pott (GB), but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, Darragh Keenan reported that Zara's Return (GB), placed second, was denied a clear run approaching and passing the 2 furlong marker.
