Tahaany makes all in Leopardstown opener
She is a nice filly and she won the way we expected her too. She ran a very good race here the last day. She is progressive and obviously we would like to get some blacktype with her now and she'll go for a Listed race. She was an immature filly in the spring and she is getting better with every run.
Exogenesis takes the Tyros for Lyons
He is what I thought he was and he is going the right way. It's not often that we refuse good money for a horse and we were offered very good money for him the last day but we said no. I said to Sean (winning owner Sean Jones) if we are going where we want to go, we need to be brave with some of these horses. He is in the Group 2 at Doncaster (the Champagne Stakes). I wouldn't go shorter than seven furlongs with him. We're in no rush with him and we won't over do it. Every day he runs he gets mentally better and I think he will be a nice three-year-old.
King rides off 7lb claim on Carenza
.She ran really well first time but on her second run bombed out and I don't know why. Hopefully she progresses another bit,.
Scintillula proves too good for Mars
She has come right now and she is hardy. In the spring time she wasn't right but we got a foundation into her and it stood to her. I felt had we made the running on Saturday we might have got a different result. The ground was a concern beforehand but I was happy with the way she picked up on it.
Things comes right for Guest
The drop of rain helped and the drop back in trip. He also had a first time tongue-tie so it was a combination of things,. His last two runs were good. He's honest, stays and did it well.
Leah Claire does it again
Anytime Frank (winning owner Frank McNulty) isn't here she wins, so he won't be allowed to come from now on. He is down in Ballybunion with his son Peter and he must have been praying for the rain. The slow pace suited her and she is all guts. Not every horse would go up the rail like that, but when the gap opened she shot into it. There is a race on Sunday week at Galway for her, it is a mares hurdle. She wouldn't get into the Galway Hurdle.
Double for Bolger as Feile gets the job done
She's good, she is not easy, but she's good, hence the hood. Ronan has done a great job on her, he rides her all the time and I felt it was only fair to leave him on her. The ground was a bit of a concern until he told me how well she handled it. It doesn't seem to matter to her. Her first run was good and she only really got the message half a furlong down. The form of that race has worked out very well.
