Ingabelle target for Chantez after stylish maiden win
That was nice. I loved her first run here as they quickened twice and I said that was a bit above the ordinary as a maiden. I was tempted to go to the Curragh the last day but Red Letter's form was there so we bypassed that and came back here, to the track she had handled, with a view to the Ingabelle Stakes. That is a race that has been very lucky for us. She did exactly what we thought she'd do. She shouldn't be running as she's so light and immature. She's just so not there yet. It's like Dublin buses. We had a load of horses last year and now, all of a sudden, every filly I have is a nice filly. We're just lucky and it's great. She's good and any other year she'd be your best one. I love having a second bite at a maiden. You get disappointed not winning for a minute but then you walk away and say 'lovely, another maiden, and I don't have to go to a stakes race'. Now she's had two runs and I have an Ingabelle horse, so happy days.
Meade & Powell strike at Leopardstown
The first time he ran he didn't know what he was doing and the second time he was a little bit the same,. The last day in the north he got lost on Colin. He was slow away, he dropped him in, and he didn't get a great run around the bend but he came home well. . I can't believe the price he was. I thought he had a fighting chance and we had to be one of the favourites. . The owners have been with me for a long time and it's nice to see them win again. . He'll stay further. He's rated 76, I don't suppose he'll change him much for that, and he'd go for a nursery I'd imagine.

Walhaan a second winner for Darragh O'Sullivan
He loves it around it around here and hasn't run a bad race here. . His run in Dundalk was a grand run. Going there he was working very well and I was a shade disappointed, I thought he'd be nearer. It probably was a better race, the premier handicaps aren't easy won. . He came out of it well and we said we'd come back here to where he likes, and it's down in grade. . The young man that rode him gave him a lovely ride, he was very cool and is good value for his 10lb. We've been keeping a good eye on him. We're very happy with the result. He'll probably have a run over hurdles at Kilbeggan in a fortnight. The plan would be to go chasing at some stage.
Platoon another for Ballydoyle and Galileo
He's a very straightforward horse and he's just taken time to come to hand. . He's been coming along nicely in the past couple of weeks and we felt this was a nice race to start him in. The trip is his absolute minimum. . Probably the best part of the race was the gallop out, Jack couldn't pull him up at the line. . He's a horse that will get further, he has a nice bit of class and he'll come on a lot physically. . There is a winners' race for him in September or we could look at something like the Listowel Stakes. The Diamond Stakes in Dundalk could also suit him over an extended ten furlongs. . He's a horse to look forward to for the back-end and I think he'll definitely make up into a stakes horse.
Evening Blossoms in the lucky last
It was a nice performance and she came on well from the last day. She has threatened to be a nice filly but for one reason or another it has taken her a few runs this year to get it all together. Hopefully she can continue to progress now. . Being an Australia, we saw her as being a ten or 12 furlong-type filly earlier in the year but I think it's pretty evident that a mile is a good trip for her now. A stiff mile and an even pace. . I take a bit of the blame for getting her wrong at the start of the season in that regard. . There is a nice (new) handicap here on Champions Weekend for fillies but I don't know if she'll get in. If she did, she might go there.
