The Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Threebagsfull, ridden by J.A. Powell, placed first, Might And Mercy (GB), ridden by C.T. Keane, placed second and Tommorah, ridden by C.D. Hayes, placed sixth, where it appeared Tommorah got bumped. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C.D. Hayes stated that his mount got a bump but had not fully acted on the track and over exaggerated. C.T. Keane stated that he followed C.D. Hayes's mount and saw the winner quicken up on the inner but he felt his own mount kept a straight course
Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards considered the incident to have been caused by accidental interference and took no further action
