Permission was given for Loveyoutothemoon (GB) to be mounted in the chute.
Nathan Moscrop, the rider of Jampot Eddie (GB), had fallen shortly after jumping the final hurdle.
Moscrop was interviewed and recordings of the incident were viewed.
The rider explained that although the gelding had jumped greenly throughout the race, there was no reasonable concerns until after jumping the last hurdle when Jampot Eddie (GB) suddenly lost its action and collapsed.
His explanation was noted.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Loveyoutothemoon (GB), placed fourth, lost its left hind shoe.
