Permission was given for Hurtle (IRE) to go early to post and for Dovena (GB) to wear a red hood to post.
An enquiry was held to consider the unruly behaviour of Hurtle (IRE) which had planted on the way to post, causing the race to be over eight minutes late off.
The rider, Mohammed Tabti, and the representative of Paul & Oliver Cole were interviewed.
As the gelding had also been unruly at Windsor on 22 May 2023, Paul & Oliver Cole were informed that any future similar behaviour from Hurtle (IRE) may result in the horse being reported to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority.
