B. J. Geraghty, rider of No Dice trained by A.J.Martin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled. S.W. Flanagan, rider of Flannery trained by David Harry Kelly, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel in running. D.N. Russell, rider of Peregrine Run, trained by Peter Fahey, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount travelled well early on, but tired in the closing stages. The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Peregrine Run, trained by Peter Fahey, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
