P.T. Enright, rider of Pepite De Belle (GB) trained by S. Curling, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a bad mistake three out

At the request of the Stewards, G.B. Noonan, rider of Cooline Bluebell, trained by Paul O'Flynn, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount is keen at home and was dropped in today to get her to settle, but she found nothing off the bridle

The Stewards enquired into the running and riding of Fahrenheit De Lecu (FR), ridden by J.J. Slevin, and trained by James Joseph Mangan. Evidence was heard from the rider and from Patrick Murphy, Authorised Representative for the trainer. J.J. Slevin, stated that his instructions were to get his mount to settle and finish out it's race well. He added that his mount was keen early and took a while to settle and was also slow and cautious over these hurdles

He also stated that his mount missed the fourth last and met with interference in the home straight. Patrick Murphy, confirmed the instructions given and expressed his satisfaction with the ride. He further added that the animal is still very green and can be very free at home. The Stewards also received a report from the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer, who stated that Fahrenheit De Lecu was coughing post race. Samples were taken for analysis. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, including the veterinary report, the Stewards noted the explanations given

The Stewards enquired into the running and riding of Mammy Shark, ridden by A. McCurtin, and trained by John J. Walsh. Evidence was heard from the rider and trainer concerned. A. McCurtin, stated that his instructions were to drop in, settle his mount and to do the best he could. He said his mount travelled well early on and jumped big at times before being outpaced before the turn in at which point he continued to make the best of his way home. John J. Walsh, confirmed the instructions given and expressed his satisfaction with the ride. The Stewards also received a report from the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer, who stated that Mammy Shark was post race normal. Samples were taken for analysis. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards noted the explanations given.
