Under the provisions of Rule 90 (iv), the Stewards allowed Our Dougal, trained by Henry de Bromhead, to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the horse was correctly vaccinated in accordance with Rule 91
The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages involving Penny Jane, ridden by D.F
O'Regan, placed first and Lakemilan, ridden by K.J. Brouder, placed second, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings and took no further action other than to advise D.F. O'Regan to ride with more care in future
