The Stewards received a report from Turf Club Starter, J.R. Banahan, that B. Browne, rider of Luckyinmilan put his horse into a canter before the race had started contrary to his instructions. Evidence was heard from the starter and rider concerned. Having viewed the recording of the incident and considered the evidence, the Stewards found B. Browne in breach of Rule 208 (iii) (b) by putting his horse into a canter with a view to taking an advantage before the race had started and suspended him for one race day.
